SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support level developed for intervention encounters a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, more info SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and enhance usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
